Terms of use

Last updated 1 October 2026

By using ukeulex.ai you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

A research tool, not legal advice

ukeulex.ai is a reference and research tool. Nothing on it is legal advice, and using it does not make anyone your lawyer or adviser. The site is not a law firm. Before acting on anything you find here, read the primary source and, where the matter is important, take advice from a qualified lawyer.

Accuracy

Library entries were checked against their official sources when they were added, and each one links to its source. Law changes, and search results come live from other organisations' services. The site may contain errors or be out of date. Always confirm against the linked source.

The checkout scanner

  • What it does. When you enter an address, our server requests that one page, as a browser would, and looks for certain words and patterns in its text. It identifies itself to the site as ukeulex.ai. It does not sign in, run the page's scripts, place orders, or get past any access control.
  • Pages belonging to others. The scanner can fetch pages on websites that are not yours. Scan only public pages, and only pages you have a legitimate reason to check, such as your own store. You are responsible for the addresses you enter.
  • No misuse. Do not use the scanner to load a site repeatedly, to probe private or internal addresses, or to interfere with any website. Access may be limited or blocked to prevent misuse.
  • What a result means. A flag is a text match that a person should verify. It is not a finding that a law has been broken. "Clear" means the words were not found on that page. It is not a certification of compliance.

Sources and licences

UK judgments contain information licensed under the Open Justice Licence v2.0, and UK legislation contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0, both © The National Archives. EU acts come from EUR-Lex. US case law data comes from Free Law Project's CourtListener. US federal regulations and statutes are works of the U.S. Government and in the public domain. Those organisations do not endorse this site.

Consulting

Consulting is offered separately by Appalachian Customs Service LLC, under its own terms. Using ukeulex.ai, or contacting the firm through the About page, does not by itself create an engagement.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is, without any promise that it is complete, accurate or always available. To the extent the law allows, the site's operator is not liable for loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
